Regina Udod alustas muusikaõpinguid Viimsi Muusikakoolis klaveri erialal, millele peagi lisandus kontrabassi lisaeriala Marek Mere juures. Ta on lõpetanud Georg Otsa nimelise Tallinna Muusikakooli Meeme Saarevälja juhendamisel ning Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia bakalaureuseõppe dotsent Kaupo Olti juhendamisel ja 2018. aastal samas ka magistrantuuri cum laude. Ta on täiendanud end Francisco Obieta juhendamisel Vorarlbergeri konservatooriumis Austrias ja professor Alberto Bocini juhendamisel Genfi Muusikakõrgkoolis (Haute École de Musique de Genève) Šveitsis.

Regina Udod pälvis 2010. aastal V Eesti noorte keelpillimängijate konkursil diplomi ja eripreemia ning 2015. aastal Eesti keelpillimängijate konkursil II preemia ja Thomastik-Infeldi eripreemia. Juunis 2017 autasustati kontrabassikvartetti – koosseisus Alessandra Avico (Itaalia), Carolina Lima de Almeida (Brasiilia), Regina Udod (Eesti) ja Marta Gil Sanchez (Hispaania) – Jean-François Caponnière nimelise preemiaga kui Genfi Muusikakõrgkooli parimat ja säravaimat kammerkoosseisu. Regina Udod on esinenud solistina ERSO, EMTA sümfooniaorkestri, Narva Linnaorkestri ja Haapsalu Festivaliorkestri ees. Ta on osalenud mitmete kontrabassimängijate, nagu Franco Petracchi, Alberto Bocini, Hans Sturm, Petru Iuga, Timothy Cobb, Thomas Martin ja Iain Crawford jt meistrikursustel.

Aastatel 2009–2010 ja 2011–2014 oli Regina Udod Rahvusooper Estonia orkestriartist, lisaks on ta mänginud Orchestre de la Suisse Romande’s, Kremerata Baltica kammerorkestris, United Strings of Europe’s, Helsingi Linnaorkestris, Eesti Festivaliorkestris, Põhjamaade Sümfooniaorkestris, Euroopa Liidu Noorteorkestris (EUYO), YXUS Ensemble’s jpt kollektiivides. Alates 2013. aastast on Regina Udod Eesti Riikliku Sümfooniaorkestri kontrabassirühma abikontsertmeister.

Regina Udod is an Estonian double bass player. She started her double bass studies at the age of 12 with Marek Mere at the Viimsi Music School having previously played piano. She continued her studies at the Georg Ots Tallinn School of Music with Meeme Saareväli which she graduated in 2011. She pursued her studies on the same year at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater studying with docent Kaupo Olt. In 2015 Regina graduated Bachelor of Music and in 2018 Master of Music. 2016/2017 Regina studied in Haute École de Musique de Genève (Switzerland) with professor Alberto Bocini.

In 2010 Regina Udod got a diploma and won the special prize of Haapsalu Festival at the 5th Estonian Competition-Festival for Young String Players in Tartu. In October 2015 she won the 2nd prize at the Estonian String Players Competition. In June 2017 double bass quartet (Alessandra Avico, Carolina Lima de Almeida, Regina Udod and Marta Gil Sanchez) was awarded Jean-François Chaponnière chamber music prize of HEM de Geneve, as the most brilliant and best chamber music group of the year. Regina Udod has appeared as a soloist with ERSO, Symphony Orchestra of Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, Narva City Orchestra and
Haapsalu Festival Orchestra. She has participated in masterclasses of Franco Petracchi, Alberto Bocini, Hans Sturm, Petru Iuga, Timothy Cobb, Thomas Martin and Iain Crawford. Regina Udod has been a member of the Estonian National Opera Orchestra and played with Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Kremerata Baltica
Chamber Orchestra, United Strings of Europe, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Estonian Festival Orchestra, European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), YXUS Ensemble etc. Since 2013 Regina is associate principal double bass of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra.
